Shark Attack 3
In honor of Shark Week next week, which I can’t watch, cause of the no cable laws of my house. “Live every week like it’s shark week.”

In honor of the best comic book movie ever being released this past week:
Tomorrow, after church, I am heading down to Columbia to lead at Go Camp, put on by these guys. I used to work with the guys at Midtown last year, so it will be fun seeing them again.
Go Camp should be a lot of fun… trying out some new things with songs and leading in general. If you are in Columbia and want to kick it while I’m down there, call me up.
The album came in today… pretty stoked about that. We’ve got the release coming up on July 6th. Be there or be a nerd.
I also finished tracking Wade’s vocals on Sun Stand Still for this small project we’re working on for the volunteers at Elevation. I’m sure you’ve all heard by now what’s going on with Wade, Ferris, and their precious daughters. If not, catch up here or here. We need more Sun Stand Still type prayers for these girls.
This is pretty old, but Relevant reminded me of it today. Funny.
This is a great article about an architect who was hired to renovate a family’s 5th Avenue apartment, and while doing so, secretly hid clues, puzzles, and secret compartments to lead the family in a massive scavenger hunt.
J.J. Abrams just bought the rights to the story to produce a feature.
I love this commercial. It’s been around for aabout a year maybe… probably longer, but I still like it everytime it comes on. This is mostly because the song is so sick.
After searching everywhere to find out who’s song it was, I found out that the song was written specifically for Sprite by music and sound design firm Human Worldwide. It was recorded and co-written by a guy named Hugh Wilson.
I know it’s probably commonplace in that business to write on the spot, but I’m amazed that such a great song came out of a very specific purpose for a very specific brand. It seems most people just find a song that fits and plug it in. I’m glad Sprite went the extra mile.
* you can listen to the entire track on Hugh’s myspace.
