Awakening
I cannot begin to describe the experience we had at church this morning. God’s presence was drenched all over the atmosphere at both Elevation campuses today, and all I was able to do was to stand in wonder at being a part of what is going on in Charlotte.
Chris Brown has a similar post/experience on his site… but this is the second time I’ve been a part of in-service baptisms at Elevation. The first time was last Spring during the Deep series, and it was the first time that God quickened my heart to the realization that He wanted Meredith and I to be a part of this church. Before that, I had only been a contract player, coming in from Columbia every week, not really plugged in, not really involved.
After being a witness to what He did last Spring, and what He began doing today, I am only reaffirmed in the fact that Charlotte is my home now. We are seeing an awakening in this city. I really believe that this city is going to experience an anointed revival and spark hope in other major cities across the nation. Charlotte is not too big for God to radically take over.Â

Mack, you and Merideth are a big part of what God is doing here. I’m so grateful you stepped out of your comfort zone to be a part of this move of God. I love you and Merideth and I’m so proud of how God is developing you every single week.

Mack,
I felt the movement as I volunteered in Ekidz during the 9:45 service @ Butler. I wasn’t sure if I would be part of this @ 11:15 or not ! I sat and listed to Pastor and as soon as he counted to 3, I stood up and knew this was the right move for me ! To top it off, my husband Chuck was backstage for production all day. I didn’t know if this was in his heart but I was going without him ! What a blessing it was to see him grabbing a bag to change as I walked out from the locker room to get in line. We were # 97 & 98 and the last 2 to get baptized at Butler on Sunday. To stand together and watch the 96 people in front of us was AMAZING !. WE are so thankful to Elevation for being the vehicle to help us give our lives to HIM. We now know 100% that we have found our home and can’t wait to see what He will do next. God Bless You All !

Pastor Steven - thank you for seeing potential in me to be a part of the vision God gave you. Even when you had only seen me play lonely, depressing music.
Vanessa - I know your husband Chuck. That is so great! Pastor says this a lot, but it’s the truth… this is only the beginning. God is changing the city of Charlotte one life at a time. I’m so glad you and your husband are a part!
